Seaquest Season 2

Ok, I've been watching Season 2 of the old TV series of Seaquest, but I have to give it this rating:

2 out of 10 stars. 

This season is terrible so I can only imagine what Season 3.  I loved the first season so I'm having a hard time believing this season is this bad.  Instead of staying in the ocean like it should have, this season has so many episodes involving Aliens or out-of-the-world phenomenons, that it might as well have been a season of Star Trek.  I wasn't aware that the Ocean had so many aliens....  It also involved a lot of politics, idiot ppl, and poor dialog.  The technology also took a serious dive as the CGI was terrible and the action bland.  And the majority of episodes barely involved the ocean like the previous season did. 

The new characters also create some really big annoyances, the telepath, the prisoner with gills, and the "Data" non-humanoid.  Star Trek anyone??!!

Every episode is so weak that I started skipping through episodes and just decided to quit.  I've never seen such a good series go so bad since TOS Season 3 (and even that wasn't so bad, gave it a 7.5 out of 10). 

Overall, this is a terrible season and I wouldn't recommend this season or Season 3 to anyone.  Season 1 is great and its a pity they fell so short.  I can see why it got canceled.

The show did kind of go downhill as the seasons went on.  I liked it quite a bit at first too.

Season two wasn't horrible, well maybe a couple of them were.. but season three... now there was some bad stuff.  :)

After I got past the shock of the changes for season 2, I thought it was alright, and liked a lot of the new Characters. I think I will get the DVD's and rewatch the series as it has been a long time since I have seen it.
