Wow, this definitely brings back memories. Now that  I look again, am I the only one who noticed that in the GI Joe intro the Joes are fighting Cobra helicopters with hang gliders? Wow these shows don't make sense anymore.

Still great though.

The Littles and Inspector Gadget! I loved those cartoons! Dave and I often use the term: "Go, go Gadget" when we're turning on the computer.

HE-MAN and SHE-RA... not so much, but I did watch it with my cousins (both boys) who had every figure sold of HE-MAN. Thundar The Barbarian reminded me ALOT of HE-MAN.

I loved Ghost Busters, GI-JOE, Heathcliff, Voltron, I watched them all. Do you guys, from the States, remember the specials they would have on the Friday night before the new Cartoons aired the following Saturday Morning? They would unveil the cartoons and show clips for each one. I was always so excited to watch it... it was a big deal at our house. I remember Scoobie-Doo being one of the clips, so it was whatever network that was on. Winnie The Poo should have been in the Youtube clip posted above. Tigger and Piglet rock.

But Thundaar had cool sidekicks and was in a post apocalyptic setting, much more interesting.  I remember looking at all of the cool backgrounds in that series, looking at all of the ruined buildings and derelict cars and crashed planes and such.  though my friends and I thought it a little funny that his lightsword could cut through metal and stone like butter, but could not cut flesh...

I guess that would have been a little too adult for that time slot and parents would have had a fit.
