Latest Anomaly episode is from the TNG 25th anniversary panel at Austin Comic Con, featuring Frakes, Dorn, Burton and Spiner. They are hilarious together. Their stories are interesting and the banter is entertaining. Check it out :) http://traffic.libsyn.com/anomaly/Anomaly2012MenOfTrekPanel.mp3

In our latest episode, archaeologist Jenny McNiven and I will discuss the historical accuracies that inspired our favorite sci-fi and fantasy books, movies and TV shows. Our first edition is about the ancient standing stones in "Outlander". "Outlander" is a British-American television drama series based on the historical time travel "Outlander" series of novels by Diana Gabaldon. These megalithic structures dot the British Isles and are found all over the world. We also talked about Stone Henge and Jenny's Scottish ancestry, which she can trace back to the 18th century Inverness (the village where most of Outlander's first book and television season take place). Hope you'll check it out!

Hi guys! Our latest podcast episode an interview with the co-owner of Ultra Sabers—the company that makes the lightsabers that Rico and I carry when we cosplay at Austin Comic Con. They have a new product called the "Flamberge", which is an uber cool cross guard style lightsaber. We got to try it out after the interview and took some video footage of it, which is in our show notes:

One other thing.  You can buy "Dragon's Lair" via Steam for your PC.  I have it!

Like most technologically ground breaking games, Dragon's Lair was great looking, but an awful game :)

Didn't know about the movie! Thanks for pointing it out. Dragon's Lair was fun to watch, but I never could figure out how to play it. :)

In our latest episode, we talked about the 1996 alien invasion film: "Independence Day", staring Will Smith. Angela LOVES this movie. LOVES IT. I, however, wished I hadn't watched it again. I liked a lot better in back in '96, when I was a mere 21 years old. We also talked about how we celebrate the Fourth of July. I talk about how my grandfather use to put a butt load of fireworks in a trash can and light it. Um, yeah... he was not related by blood. :D

Stream the episode, the movie trailer and see some wicked-awesome animated gifs and screen shots:
