Definitely one of the best TNG eps, certainly the best of the first 2 years. I really felt that Picard's character really came together for the first time in this episode, his morality and loyalty to his crew and his passion.

Hi! I listened to the Anomaly Podcast after seeing your post. I really liked it. Measure of a Man is one of the best Trek episodes. That and DS9's In The Pale Moonlight. I always thought those episodes would be neat as stage productions. Maybe sometime in the far future Mars colony young elementary students in awkward costumes will be acting out all the parts:)

I began to really adore the Data character after this point. And Brent Spiner is a better actor than he  gets credit for, I think, in the mainstream.

It was a great episode, I really enjoyed this one, so much so that I went and rewatched the episode on Netflix the same day :).
