I'm really getting frustrated with computer problems that are plaguing it.  My notebook seems to be on the verge of a complete and total breakdown and I'm nearly there myself.  Its hard enough to go through class then come back to only have to deal with computer plague issues.

Today: It crashes twice.  Don't know why.  It just does.

And recently the amount of seeable graphic errors are starting to increase (in-game and while doing simple stuff like Internet).

Is there anyway to know if heat has damaged a hardware component?  I'd really like to know.

Thanks.

King

could be a virus, but with grafical errors could be a sign of either a video card failure or your motherboard is dying.

I had these same type of crashes when my motherboard was dying, have you ruled out a virus?

Well....there is this worm that my anti-virus seems unable to rid itself of.  -_-  It can't seem to get rid of it fully but it hasn't spread either so...idk...I really hate this thing.

These are three of eight files that had a worm/virus in them.  these are the same that have been dected for about a week.  But it seems they don't move/are undeletable.

No Virus name has come up for this what program is detecting it as a virus or worm.

KingIsaacLinksr

Avast Anti-Virus is the program.  there is no name for the virus.

I suggest you go to majorgeeks.com and type in the search window, Norman.

It will bring you to a file caled Norman Malware Cleaner. It was able to detect and remove a virus that I was not able to remove from my computer

This hopefully will work if not try  AVG Antispyware or Super AntiSpyware free edition these can also be found on Major geeks.

Let me know how it goes.

The other thing to try would be to reboot in safe mode and run your virus checker from there just in case the virus or trojan is disabling it on bootup. Worth a try anyway.

here is my plan: run anti-virus things until Morning.  Get back from school and have a nice long talk with Gateway.  I pay them for this anyway.

This sounds like the work of your virus, it will continue to get worse until it is removed, you may be better to reformat your drive and reinstall the software, before your motherboard is fried.

Try the program norman, it may fix the problem, it did for me anyway, may be worth the try under the circumstances.
