Is any one a fan of the British comedy Sci Fi show Red Dwarf starring Chris Barrie, Craig Charles, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llwelyn? I absolutely love this show and have met all the actors at conventions and book signings and all of them are hoping for a new series. There has been talk about a film but as far as i know that has been in the works since at least 2004. Chris Barrie has said that if a film does not happen then he would be happy to do a new series. I seriously wish the BBC would spend some of my license fee on producing it instead of the very poor imitation Hyper Drive.

I used to love watching this show when I was in high school!

It aired pretty irregularly, though; mainly when our local PBS station was holding a pledge drive.

I might dig seeing a new series or film, but only if the same actors were used.

I LOVE Red Dwarf!!! I am a huge fan of British comedies. I was watching PBS one night and started watching this show Red Dwarf...my oh my how happy I was that I started watching it. It is definitely my favorite Sci-Fi comedy of all time. I would love to see some more episodes, or a movie for that fact.

Great feedback, yeah it's a brilliant series. All the actors want to do a new series, the film looks like a no go, which is a shame. The books are worth a read (Duffster i'm sure you have read them), the audio books are really good as Chris Barrie and Craig Charles read them. One of my favorite lines is when Rimmer jogs up to Lister and says

Morning, Lister! How's life in hippie heaven, you pregnant baboon bellied space beatnick? What's the plan for the day then? Slobbing in the morning, followed by slobbing in the afternoon, then a bit of a snooze before the main evening's slob? God, you're a disgrace to the species.

Ah class. The DVD's are worth getting. They have released the bodysnatcher box set which contains the series 1 to 3 which have been re-masterd like the Star Trek TOS episodes. Will be buying them soon.
