Buffy The Vampire Slayer

I listen to the Anomaly of Buffy and I went and brought The Chosen Collection. I was one of those that saw the movie and didn't like it. I didn't know the series was so different. Little way into season one and loving it.  

I'm glad you're liking them! They get much better as the series goes on.  I'm still making my way through it, but season three is definitely my favorite story arc thus far.   :)

I watched the 7th season when it was on Sky here in the UK, the musical episode was genius and the rest was okay. I recently tried watching Buffy, got through season 1 but season 2 has defeated me.

For someone who hasn't really got into it, do you have any episode recommendations that might just tip the balance in Buffy's favour?

A lot of Buffy fans suggest Hush from season four, including my friend V who absolutely despises watching anything out of order.  And apparently these two Anomalies or Anoma-llamas or something recommended that episode in a podcast... I don't know too much about it. :P

I am still watching my way through it myself, just finished season 6.
My favorite episode so far is "The Zeppo" from season 3. I really love that episode and think that season 3 is my favorite so far and suggest you keep watching into season 3 at least.

I love The Zeppo! Between that and "Lover's Walk," I don't think I've ever laughed so hard out loud.

Lover's Walk is my other big favorite of season 3, I love Spike in that episode. Especially his scene with Joyce.

Which season are you on, Dave?  I just started season six a few days ago.  Sure, I probably shouldn't be watching it while I'm studying for finals, but I find the demon slaying and clever quips pleasantly distracting relaxing.  ;)  And you gotta love Alyson Hannigan.  She's too cute.

Buffy and Angel are fantastic television! How I wish the 'Buffyverse' had continued on television or movies in some form to develop... Jen, great Buffy podcast! It reminded me that my wife does like to watch Buffy too but she CAN'T watch 'Hush'. It SCARES her too much! LOL
