I am not Christian so I just follow my wife where she tell me to go, not so unlike every other day :)

I think we are going to go over her mom's house for the day. That's not exactly the most relaxing thing but as long as football is on I will be fine.

Yes, it's a good thing to have a good wife.  :)  I don't mind following mine around.  Well, at least most of the time!  :)

Boxing Day, Jeff? Explain please. :)

Jeff is clearly one of my fellow Canadians. Boxing Day is Dec 26th. In Canada it is the biggest shopping day of the year (comparable to black Friday). There are big sales in many stores and crazy amounts of people out looking for a deal.

It is called boxing day because traditionally, it is the day people would return gifts they didn't like to the store and exchange them (bringing the 'boxes' back). I believe it is the same in England and likely originated from there.

I'm not sure if I like our system or the pre-christmas sales better.

It is pretty much as Billybob said, I guess it is only something observed by commonwealth countries.

I have been blessed by a non-shopping wife...thank the maker! She has zero interest in shoe's or handbags. She just loves dogs!

Your a very fortunate man. I am not sure how many hours I have spent in the malls the past few years, and every shoe or handbag looks the same to me.

I like shopping online too. I usually like to do research before I buy something and the internet is obviously great for that.
Clothes on the other hand, I'd rather try on before I buy and I frequent the same store so I know what I want and it's a quick in and out. But I don't make Dave go with me, sometimes he asks to come along...  :)
