Will strike affect the new movie?
« on: November 07, 2007, 12:16:44 PM »
I haven't seen this asked anywhere.  If it has, forgive me.  I know(assume) the script is done but I also know that there are typicall \y re-writes during the course of shooting if I am not mistaken.  Will the strike by the WGA affect the schedule of the movie?  Or any of the '09 "blockbuster"s for that matter?
I think it was Socrates who spoke the immortal words:  I drank WHAT?

Based from what I have read the strike will not impact the movie (which they have now started filming officially).  Here's a basic rundown of the schedule:

4/06 - 2/07: Development Phase [Paramount green light movie 2/27/07]
3/07 - 11/07: Pre-production Phase
11/07 - 3/08: Production/Principal Photography Phase
3/08 - 12/08: Post-production Phase
12/25/08: RELEASE!
