Wii the Moyers

So, my kids just bought a Wii. My house is never going to be the same.

Anyone else here have one? Can you surf the net with them?

Do we already have a thread for this?

A startrek game comes out next month. I think I may have to buy it!

"Wii" have had one for awhile. It was played a lot in the first few months but not as much lately. But it's a very cool and innovative system. Have fun with it.

P.S. I think you can get on the Net with it, but it's not that easy since it has no keyboard.

You need to buy the wii browser from the wii store (it's like 5 bucks or something). The latest update apparently added support for USB keyboards (so I've been told). The browser is opera. It's handy to use if you want to do something quick, like find a movie listing or something.

I saw Treks in sci fi on my tv! How awesome is that?

I can even play youtube videos- but not regular audio files. Weird!

I will have to get an extension and a USB keyboard now.

Bowling is pretty fun. The kids got Metroid Prime:SSX Blur

Bowling and Tennis are the best in Wii Sports. Boxing actually gives you a good workout, my buddy does 30 mins to an hour of it wearing wrist weights.

There was a guy camping near us at Renfest who was playing Wii golf on a giant screen. He had technorigged car running the game. It was mesmerizing at night. Lots of people just came by to watch him play.
