I know Wolverine was/is the most popular character in the X-men but I just can't get excited about this film no matter what I read. I hope I like it and am not dissapointed. I would much have preferred another X-Men film. I like ensemble cast movies better I suppose. Cool pic though!

Still going to be an ensemble Xmen movie.. there are about five or six other mutants that will be there.. just Wolverine will be the main story.. and to be honest.. he has had a pretty big role in all three prior Xmen movies. I'm looking forward to this movie.

I'm very excited for this film.  I've been a long time Marvel Comic reader and Wolverine fan.  He has a lot of back story that will make a very interesting movie I think.

X-Men Origins: Magneto is also being made by Donners Company. How many will they do?. Really looking forward to Wolverine, bring it on.

Jackman Talks "Wolverine" & Sequels
By Garth FranklinWednesday, April 30th 2008 8:42am

Whilst this week's Marvel comic adaptation "Iron Man" is making a big selling point of it being more comical and light than your average superhero, next May's superhero movie is expected to be a whole lot darker.

Tonally, I would put it more in the 'Batman Begins' sort of realm. That's sort of where we're headed" Hugh Jackman told MTV News when speaking of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" which he is currently filming for release May 9th 2009. Liev Schreiber, Dominic Monaghan and Ryan Reynolds co-star.

"We are dealing with a character who is probably one of the darker comic book characters ever created. The movie has a lot of fun elements, but there are layers of pain and darkness to this character" he adds.

Would he come back for further sequels? "I really wanted to do this spin-off movie, because I felt we hadn't truly found who this character was. Right now. I feel like I could do another ten or eleven."

We came up with this idea (well Jen mentioned Chops and me, Kenny and Rick came up with this) that we all grow Wolverine style mutton chops and see who grows the best. Obviously if your work place frowns on such facial hair then i suggest you leave and go somewhere more fun ;) . So how about a wolverine style mutton comeptition. Post ypur photo up and we'll see who wins. And ladies do not think you cannot join in, false style chops are allowed for the ladies and also for young boys who can only grow fluff. I'm growing mine now. ;)

Rico

Even though I have a thick beard and you can actually watch it grow I think in real time (LOL), I'll pass on this.  Having more than a couple of days growth drives me buggers.  Not to mention Lynn doesn't like how it feels rubbing on her face.

Haha, I think my wife would murder me if I tried to do that.

Joe you Canadians are born with facial hair ;) and Rico, i think you'd look a bit like General Zod with a beard. False chops for you boys then ;)

I am desperately trying to get Amy to do this with me.  It's not working... :)
