:)  Cool video.  Am I correct in assuming that the Tiberius is an Akira Class ship?  If so, cool choice!  This is my personal favorite class.  I just wish that it was featured more on film.

Indeed it is an Akira Class vessel.  A little more science than war if I remember the post correctly.  My favorite class though is the Sovereign class.  U.S.S. Sovereign being the favorite ship.  *And you thought I would say the Enterprise*

It is compressed with DIVX.  You need to have that codec on your system.  http://www.divx.com

Yep...I have that plug-in. I have to to watch TNG episodes at the Stage6.dvx.com site.

From what I was able to find out about the Akira class, it's pretty much a gunboat from the notes of the designer. It has 14 torpedo launchers and it's saucer section is roughly the size of the sovereign class saucer section. The E beats it on size because the Akira class is mostly saucer.

The little section that runs between the nacelles in the rear is nothing but weapons with a lot of launchers.

No Just X, thats not what I meant.  If I remember the first moderator's post Keozen, the Tiberius has a little more science integration.  I'll check.

And yes, Ik that the akira is a gunboat.  Its almost like the Defiant.  But a little bigger and heavier.

yeah,  I realized what you meant after I posted. The Akira that we are in has a few less teeth than the standard class.

I should have been a little more specific myself.  But yea, I like the Akira, but the Sovereign has a distinction about it.  I looked into the story about the creation of the sovereign class (U.S.S. Enterprise E).  To me, the Sovereign class has echoes of the A and D combining it into the E.  So it makes for a very nice ship.
