Thankfully they are posting the BSG-Razor flashbacks on scifi.com.  The first is called Day 4,571 and it is pretty good.

I love sci-fi doing this....I really enjoyed the New Caprica occupation webisodes when they were on and these seem like they will be as good or better.

Really looking forward to Razor; Cain was one of my favorite characters from season II, and I was sorry to see her go.

Re.  The Flashback Clip-  Saw the first one a few days ago... this has me very excited!!!  Ever since I saw the old-school Cylon in the museum on the miniseries, I've been waiting for a glimpse into the first cylon war.  I think I saw a clip of young Adama/Husher in a dogfight with old-school Cylon Raiders on one of the promos...

all I have to say is YES!!! :metallica:  (sorry; I'm a bit of a BSG fanboy)

Rico

Almost everyone here loves it too.  This "Razor" film looks great!

The wife and I are itching for this to begin.

Thought i would give this a bump because if you haven't seen the flashbacks, you MUST go to scifi.com and see this past weeks called "Operation Raptor Talon".  The reason I loved it is because I was also a fan of classic BSG and the old schoool Cylon Raiders are in this one and it was awesome.  Huge battle scene...unbelievable.

So I guess they are putting these on during Flash Gordon to make people watch that dreadful show?

Darth Gaos

Yeah I think so...thankfully they also post it on the web so I just bypass Flash Gordon

I checked out the latest segment earlier tonight... my only complaint is that it's too short!

The bit where Adama beats down the centurion reminded me of the scene in the mini where he kills Leoben.  I'm wondering-- was that blood leaking out of the centurion's chest?  And was that Adama's blood on his face and hands, or the centurions?  Blood from a machine?

Did I misread this scene, or is there more to the toasters than we were led to believe?

Have you guys watched more of these? They are on Sci fi.com. They are frackin' awesome! Love all the old school BSG homage in the cylon's, the Raiders and Basestars. One question, didn't the first Cylon war take place like 75 years before the new BSG? Would Adama even be born yet?

I think the miniseries said it was 50 years since they had last seen the Cylons.

---  And you are right Bryan - this is looking frakking great!   :cylon

This is definitely a cool series of mini-episodes; I'm enjoying it even more than last season's "The Resistance" mini-'sodes.  I'm loving the hints at the back-story to the toaster/human-model-cylon origins.  And I'm still trying to figure out the significance of "All of this has happened before; all of this will happen again."  Cool stuff!

Geekyfanboy

Well I was finally able to watch the first six of these back to back... all I have to say is

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am speechless.. the battle scene were mind blowing and the fight between Adama and the Cylon as they fell through the atmosphere... just incredible. I can't wait for the final instalment this Friday and then the actually Razor movie.

BSG ROCKS!!!!!!

I agree 100%!

The action is very well choreographed, and the effects people did an outstanding job on the "old-style" cylons.  As I was thinking back on the cylon costumes of the original series, I was worried that they wouldn't seem as threatening as the newer models.  I'm glad that I was wrong. :)
