The only thing I have to say about this (and everyone of course is of course entitled to their own views) is the scene was pretty mild compared to all the soldiers getting killed in the movie.  I'm a bit surprised that scene (by the car?) would bother you more for kids to see than the violence?

Now, I had a blast watching this movie and it is rated PG-13, so honestly it isn't intended for young kids.  But again, the choice is up to you.

Well, I guess that neither you Rico or Kenny know which scene I am referring to and it is the one in the kids bedroom when his Mom and Dad demand that he opens the door and when he does his Mom asks him if he was masturbating. I think that was totally unacceptable and unnecessary. If that scene had been written differently or left out entirely it would not have hurt the substance or integrity of the film. The other scene about the pheromones was a lot subtler and therefore less harmful.

As for the violence I think most people would expect a Transformers movie to be violent if they know the original cartoons. I think fantasy violence is a lot different from violence like you would see on a show like Sopranos or the Godfather or 24. None of which I would allow a child to see. The fact is that this is a film based on a "cartoon" and many children are familiar with the toon and you would have a hard time keeping kids away, PG13 rating or not!

And although I shouldn't even have to say it these are my personal opinions based on my Christian moral worldview. Whether you agree or not with them is not the issue but I just expressed my own concerns and opinions about the film.

Yeah I do remember that scene and I thought it was funny.. if I recall you didn't like the first scene of The Big Bang Theory for that same reason. It's obvious we have different views on this subject. I accept your views as I hope you accept my views.

I thought that scene was funny.

My kids can't watch that movie yet (they're very young) but it's got much more to do with characters being ripped apart than any of the words spoken in the film.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree.  I frankly don't think the movie is really for young kids - period.  And I mean those younger than about teenagers.  Again, it is rated PG-13 for multiple reasons.  Mainly because of the violent content according to the descriptive text on the box I just bought.
