Our new Car and 21st Anniversary

Hey everyone!  Amy and I celebrated 21 years of marriage yesterday and went out to dinner in Olympia.  We got to pick up our new car.. and here it is...


2006 PT Cruiser Touring Edition

Here is Amy with her car!


This is our first newer car.  So it was pretty special.   We picked it up at the dealership and went up to Olympia (about 45 min from our home) for dinner at a really cool place called Falls Terrace  http://www.fallsterrace.com

This was the view from our table.  WOW!

We then went on a walk down below the restaraunt and enjoyed the sights... here are some of them.





This is Amy on a cool bridge during our walk.

Of course to break in the cool stereo, I hooked up my ipod and played.....  Treks In Sci Fi!  Yeah!

Great pics Rick!  Pretty car and color.  Great they have an AUX input for your iPOD.  Is that a certain podcast playing?  hehe.....

Hey Rick.  Congrats on 21 years together.  That's quite remarkable especially for today's standards.  Cool car as well.  I've actually been without one for 9 months but will need to get one when I move back to the US.  The big question is who gets to drive the new car?!...lol

Nice car Rick. That's cool that your radio has an aux input for your mp3 player. I need to install a new radio in my trucks so I can do that. However, I do get a lot of enjoyment listening to the podasts while I mow lawns. Quite relaxing!

Congrats! I've been married almost 2 months, 21 years is quite a ways for me. Also I love the fact that most newer cars come with an Aux in. I have a tape adapter in my Jetta.

2 months is good!  Marriage really rocks when you both put your all into it. 

We have had our ups and downs, but the best part is having someone that is your best friend no matter what.  I love that.  Life can be pretty crazy at times, and it's nice to know you always have someone on your side.

Nice ride too, my twin sister has had her PT cruiser for a couple of years now - says it's a great car.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. It's hot and bone dry in Northern California this time of year, of course we only get two seasons - mud and dust!
