Well maybe the regeneration just makes the doctor slightly older, but then why would the ood say his song is ending?

Not sure. There are rumors all over that the regeneration messes up and it produces 2 people. I doubt that. I saw those after I came to the conclusion that his regeneration is botched.

I just have to go on the record and say that this is one of the best written episodes in all sci-fi. It rewarded the faithful viewers with more than I ever expected from any show. The pay off was fantastic and it crossed every season to bring the pay off.

It brought all of the Doctor Who universe together and touched on all of the spin offs. I couldn't ask for anything more in a show.

My only regret is that I can't see them ever topping what happened in this episode. Can a show jump the shark because nothing after what was last seen would compare to that?

Quite simply one of the greatest episodes of Doctor Who ever. For me, Bernard Cribbins (Donnas old man) was my favourite character. It was so cool to see Rose again and the hairs on my arms raised when I saw her wealding that huge gun. The papers here were saying that a much loved character was going to die and I was holding my breath for the well being of Rose, thank goodness they got that one wrong.
The only dampener to the episode was seeing the very small teaser trailer for the Christmas episode. Come on guys, can't you come up with something different?

Okay just finished the finale of Doctor Who Season Four. I have to say it was a Fanboys dream episode. From beginning to end I was smiling from ear to ear. The Doctor and his Children of Time vs Davros and the Delaks. This episode was the perfect ending to the RTD era of Who.

I loved the set up for Martha and Mickey to join Torchwood next season (if the rumors are true).

Rose and the Doctor (well clone doctor) live happily ever after (at least for now)

Seeing K-9 special appearance was awesome.

And I have to say that Catherine Tate (Donna) was MAGNIFIGENT!!! I didn't really like her in the Christmas special but when they brought her onto the series she changed and turned into one of my favorite companions of all. Her acting is brilliant and she got to shine in many of season four episodes. And what happened to her in this episode was heart wrenching. She's the woman that saved the universe and when the Doctor took her back to live with her family and removed the memories I thought..okay at least she's not dead. But then I remembered her life on Earth and her unsporting mother who makes her believe she is nothing and worthless and it makes me sad. Donna is so much more and it might have been better if she had died the woman she was rather then go back to the woman she use to be. I just hope all the crazy experience that Donna's mom had will change her mind about her daughter and she'll give her encouragement and respect as she deserves.

Anyways.. a wonderful ending to a wonderful season.. this is a must buy when it comes out on DVD.

Donna Who was awsome, yes I am calling the smarter Timelord Dona Dona Who. If Donna Who was kept then we would have the best spin off, other then torchwood I really did not like Sarah Jane adventures to kid friendly, they had the silliest enemies.

Yes she is the one but if I say doctordonna it refers to a certain timelord and donna but Donna who, ok well I just think it has a certain ring to it

I'm pretty sure Doctordonna only refers to Donna as far as the show and the in show explination goes.

Darkmolerman

True, but Donna who sounds so awsome! So I will call her Donna Who you can go with doctordonna
