So, today, because I have been spending some stressful days at work, on the advice of my therapist.. I took the afternoon and just enjoyed the sites where I live.  About 15 minutes from my house is a cool Lake at a State Park called Lake Sylvia.  So, here we go,

Here is where I ate my subway sandwich

Then I decided to walk the trail, I thought it was only 1 mile, but it ended up being 2!  Lots of hills, and wow, was I tired!  You would think I wouldn't be, but I guess I am used to walking flat!  :)

Here are some sights along the way.  It was beautiful!

OK, are you ready?  This is my sweet ride.  ha!  It is a cracker box, but it gets good gas mileage and starts up every time!  Fun!  Isuzu!

A guy was fishing when I went by, on my way back here was his catch...

There you go, what do you think?  I think that I forget that I live in a place that looks gorgeous!

It's beautiful Rick... a perfect place to get away.  I maybe be moving up there in the near future. :)

Those are nice Pictures Rick, you are so fortunate to live so close to an area like that. Looks very relaxing, hopefully it helped you de-stress

Rico

Beautiful pics Rick.  I'd love to have a place nearby like that to get away.
