I guess because that's the way this boards features are setup! Besides if you click reply you can copy and paste any quotes you want in your text and use the quote button! This isn't Invision you know! :wacko

Yes that is how the quote button works.. you can click reply and then once in the reply mode you can do down to the bottom of the page and you'll see previous comments and you can click quote and it will quote a comment for you in the reply section.

What I do if I want to quote someone and actually use the reply window is that I hit quote, cut out what I want to quote with the quote tags intact, click reply and paste it into my text. Not so difficult!
