Captaintpen and Jeff - got your intros thanks.  I'll be using them in the coming weeks.  Only can use one per show but I will be cycling them and use them a few times over the upcoming weeks, etc.

Hi Rico,

Duffster sorta mentioned the HAL 9000 in his greeting to me so I was inspired to make a 2001 themed intro in his honor.

Could use a few fresh new intros for the podcast folks.  I rotate the ones I use but I'm looking for some new ones.

What are the copyright laws like if I want to use 20-30 of movie music for background ?  Do I need to check ?

Rico

Feel free to use small bits of music, etc.  The podcast is sent out free of charge under Creative Commons so there aren't normally any issues.

I'll try and experiment Rico, might get something unique, but don't count on it ;)

Break out those mics and headsets - I need some new, fresh intros for the podcast!  Gebular - don't leave Earth!  ;)

I shall have to try. The problem is, These other chaps use nice sound effects and music. Can anyone recommend an easy way to include music in the background without having to play music on a seperate CD player?
You could learn something from Mr Spock Doctor..... Stop thinking with your glands"

I use Audacity.. it's a fairly easy audio program to learn and use. You record your audio track, then import a song and play with the levels.. then output at mp3.. very simple. I think the website is www.audacity.com
