Hey Jeff,

Any word from your friend about his Documentary? I know he had his premiere in September... did you go to that? Is he tweaking it still? Can't wait for this movie.

If you haven't seen the trailer check it out...

jedijeff

Hi Kenny, I did not get a chance to go to the Premier as I had to work that day and could not get the time off work :( . It is all complete, he is just working on distribution right now, as he has few companies interested in distributing it for him. Once he has that confirmed, then he will start promoting it, such as Ricos podcast. Drop me an email Kenny and I will get Jason to send you a preview copy.

Well today I got a certain DVD from a guy in Canada.. it's was my special preview copy of Pegwarmers. I have been chatting with Jason (producer) the past year and he was kind enough to send me an advanced copy of the movie. As soon as I got home from work I had to watch it and it was AWESOME. Our very own "jedi" Jeff is featured and is great. It covers the wide range of geekdom, from collecting toys to dressing up to DnD. It's so well made for being a "fan" produced documentary. I can't wait to get the official DVD when it come out. You can tell the folks behind this film really love being a geek. I have seen a few of the "fan" made documentary about geekdom "The Force Among Us" and "George and Me" and this just is way above those in content and production value. Everyone who is a geek needs to check this out when it comes out on DVD.

jedijeff

Hi Kenny, I am happy you enjoyed it :) . Hopefully Jason get the distribution finalized soon.

Geekyfanboy

I hope so.. this is a must have for geeks.

Jen

Cool trailer! I love that they included Renfesters! I can't wait for it to come out. :)

PegwarmersTV — An Insider's View Into Geekdom

The world of Sci-Fi and fantasy fandom is bigger now that it has ever been. Today there are a record number of science-fiction franchises bringing in huge profits every year, with millions of fervent fans connecting online and at conventions all over the globe. And yet, most people still think of these pointy eared, white armored, multi-sided-dice slinging fanatics simply as the lunatic fringe.

But who are these people? Why do they risk ridicule for what many outsiders consider nothing more than a trivial and juvenile pursuit?. Pegwarmers delves into the world of Sci-Fi and Fantasy fandom to discover what makes these devoted fans tick, and why it seems that "geek", has become "chic"

Outrageous and often insightful, Pegwarmers is the feature length documentary that looks to uncover the veil of mystery and examine the stigma that surrounds this often misunderstood subculture. So set your phasers on stun, and join in on a Galactic adventure, as the documentary takes a passionate insiders look at the worlds of toy and comic collecting, Sci-Fi and Medieval costuming, fantasy gaming and everything else in between.
