The United States Postal Service is joining the Star Wars 30th Anniversary celebration by honoring the franchise with a 30th Anniversary Commemorative Stamp, which will be available for sale within a few short months. In addition, 320 post office boxes across the US will be redesigned to look like a replica of R2D2, and placed in high traffic areas to ensure the greatest public visability. The US Post Office want to remind people that theft of mailboxes and their contents is a violation of federal law.

I saw one near the U of A the other day -  Pretty neat looking I thought.
I think the surest sign that there is intelligent life out there in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

Rico asks and he shall recieve.. you can go to http://www.usps.com/ and vote for your favorite Star Wars stamp. They have Star Wars Envelopes.. they are going all out at the USPS. IT'S AWESOME!!!!!! Now I just have to pick my favotire one to vote for.

edit.. I just voted for Darth Vader.. I mean Star Wars wouldn't be Star Wars without him. But the cool thing is you can vote once a day.

I wish they had some of the mailboxes near my house.

I wonder if any nerds are going to steal them.  That would be lame.

I must say I will buy a few of these stamps when they come out.

Call me geeky! :)
Call me cocky, but if there's an alien I can't kill, I haven't met him and killed him yet.
