I have more photos of course, but I do not want to gob up the forums. I will find a way to post it on my husband's website so ya'll can see them if you want to. We had a great time. The timeline was great. I wish we had more time to look at it. So many props and stuff. Also we got to take a pic on the bridge. However they were a little pushy when we took the pic. I just wanted to hang out there. Since I am the big TNG girl. Just in case you have not been -- go soon. I have it on good authority that the attraction will be closed in a couple of years due to a scheduled re-vamp of the Hilton casino. The bar was awesome. We ate there a couple of times. And drank the super drink. Okay, I will post a pic of the super drink then I am done.   :trip :tpol :klingon ;D

How cool!  I am so glad you had a good time.  I sure hope they don't close it down, it would be a real shame. Great pictures!

Rick

I have been and always will be, your friend.

Sounds like a great time Angela.  I'm really going to try and make it to Vegas this year.  Got some frequent flyer miles to cash in anyways.

That drink does look good. The first time I went, we ate at Quarks, but a few hours earlier I had eaten at an all you can eat Buffet, and I had eaten all I could eat, so I was not hungry. The second time I went, it was closed for a function. So I am hoping if I do make it a third time, I can have a meal there.

PepperDude

You guys (especially Moyer) have unwillingly convinced me to go to the show.  It sounds like a lot of fun.  ;D  I definitely have to go this year especially since I live in So. Cal.

Darth Gaos

Is the Star Trek Experience the thing in Seattle?  Or am I thinking of something else?

I always thought a meet-up would be awesome....only problem for me is that with a wife and 4 kids....it's difficult to travel.
I think it was Socrates who spoke the immortal words:  I drank WHAT?

Rico

The Experience is in Las Vegas.  Been there quite a few years and I am embarrassed to say I haven't been - yet.   :(

Yeah, ST- The Experience is good fun. I've been there twice over the past few years. The Borg invasion show is a blast! I think a lot of the props in the museum are bogus, though.

Locutus

It is awesome. And bogus or not, the props are very cool. Plus, the Trek timeline is interesting.

Admiral Piett: Impossible! Are calcs proves us otherwise.

Kenny, Rico and I are both old time members over at The Replica Prop Forum. You will never find a more wretched hive of prop nut jobs! These guys can spot a fake phaser or Captain Kirk shirt from a mile away. Rico wil also vouch for their skills. They have idebtified a great many of those props as being reproductions. They are very good and look the part, even look the age, but a great many are NOT TOS or film used items. Some were made for older exhibits and conventions, others were made for the Experience itself.

Geekyfanboy

Thanks for the reply Bryan.... did ST The Experience every claim that these items were authentic and originals?? I don't think so. I mean they have Picards flute and as many of you know Picards flute sold at Christy's for quite a bit of money. Originals or reproductions the stuff is really cool to see.

Bryancd

For sure it's a cool stuff and no, I don't think they ever made the claim that these were original screen used items. It's a great display regardless.

Duffster

This was the one place I had to see when I was out in Vega a couple of years ago, and I loved it!!

I still have my glass from Quarks bar.
