As a girl, Dr. Crusher was a character I looked up to. She still is. We recently covered one of the BEST Star Trek / Beverly-centric episodes, on Anomaly: "Remember Me". Best-Selling author, Gail Carriger, joined us in this installment to not only talk about why we love this TNG episode and Bev so much, but to chat about our favorite Trek episodes from various seasons and funny fan-girl moments. In the first half, we introduce Gail and talk about her books. If you're a fan of Steampunk and fantasy, you'll love all her fiction series. I've read two so far—they're really fun.

In our latest episode, Angela and I talked about First Contact. It's our favorite Trek film. We talked about why then discussed the sound track, plot, character development, favorite quotes, characters and how it all ties into the cannon via Voyager and Enterprise.

Oh my gosh, I haven't posted here in FOREVER... but I thought of all places to share this episode about Lwaxana Troi,  this would one of the best places to do it because I know you all love her as much as we do. :)

Mrs Troi, as she was sometimes called, was played by the late great Majel Barrett and was the mother of Counselor Deanna Troi, a telepathic human/Betazoid hybrid in Star Trek The Next Generation. Lwaxana was such a great recurring character that her character arc spanned in six TNG episodes and three Deep Space Nine episodes.
