I just wanted to take a sec, introduce myself and explain the name.

Darth Gaos here.  Huge sci-fi/fantasy fan...but I am picky about what I like...know what I mean.  Just because it is sci-fi doesn't mean I like it.

Star Wars, Trek, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica.....Love 'em among many others

The name......yes.........well Darth I guess is obvious......Gaos is actually a winged monster that Gamera fought in one of the old Japanese monster movies (a guilty pleasure of mine)...also made famous by being an experiment on one of the greatest "sci-fi" shows ever....Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Discovered the Podcast the other day and I cannot get enough of it....Keep up the great work Rico and I look forward to posting here.

Oh man! Japanese monster movies rock. I grew up watching Ultraman, Ultraseven, Space Giants and Gojira movies. I liked Gamerah, but only a bit.

In the spirit of the board and because....quite frankly Spock frightens me......I have changed my avatar....that and because I thought DS9 was at its best and got better when this coolest of the cool starships de-cloaked a mere 50 meters from DS9.  Also, I was in the Air Force for ten years and loved when they would make a caricature out of a plane and put it on a patch...hence the reason I chose this image in particular.
