What they can do with lighting is amazing. The  smd and led strip lighting has really allowed people the ability to light models even more. What they do with the boards as well is pretty cool, with simulating photon bursts, nav flashers and other tricks. I am hoping at some point I can add that into the models that I build. I am still pretty much a novice with my building, so probably a year or two off from the more advanced stuff, but exciting how much is out there now.
