I never read the comic boks - is this movie supposed to be closer to them?  I just saw the older cartoon from late 80's, and the movies.

Definitely looks a bit grittier then the previous movies.

I'll probably check this out. Never read the comics but did see the earlier live action movies.

I doubt it. It seems like most of these adaptations go to the comics for inspiration, and Krang was a cartoon creation. I'd be all for it though, I loved the Turtles back in the dizzay.

Think I'm going to go see this tonight at my local, small theater. Only $5. there and I like to support the theater too. Besides, this looks like it will have some fun moments in it.

A fun movie for kids, but pretty forgettable. At least I had popcorn and Megan Fox looked good. The turtles were well done but the story was just too simple. Oh well.
