Hi Treks( and other Sci-fi fans) name's Falconer (OK, that's not my real name, but you can just call me Falconer, it's a nickname, weird story). I've been a huge geek for my entire life. I'm a diehard Trekkie and a Star Wars fan (I'm one of those people who loves them both equally), as well as a fan of Doctor Who, Stargate, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Primeval, BSG, 2001, and a countless list of Sci-fi. I discovered the podcast in January and I've been listening ever since. These podcasts have kept me busy during many long road trips, thanks to TISF. I then discovered the forum, and it seems like a nice place to chat about geeky things. Apart from a geeky life, I play the trumpet and like music, and I also like to write stories in my spare time. So thank you all who made this wonderful community of geeks.

Thanks for joining!  Funny, my 9 y/o daughter just started 4th grade, and can choose an instrument for music lessons through her school.  She said last night at dinner she wants to play the trumpet, which totally took me by surprise since I play guitar and a little piano.  When I asked why she said it's because the trumpet is the coolest instrument!
