Yeah, I play on PC and DRM is sometimes tied into services like that. I will give consoles a point that they don't have to deal with DRM unlike us. Pros and Cons.

Well they do in a way. The DRM is in the hardware instead of the software, the hardware is uniform and therefore the experience is much more reliable.

Yeah, it's similar to iOS's DRM.
