That's going to irritate the Star Trek London brigade!

Presumably the Philly contingent are going to go? Hmm, if my work life had gone a little differently over the last three years, maybe I could have worked a trip out to Boeing over that period.

Hey ho, no point wishing for what might have been! (and having just moved house, I'd never have afforded con tickets anyway)

Jobydrone:
Of course I'm tempted but I've heard so many negative things about these cons that I might just skip it.  Long lines, huge crowds, very high costs involved...I just don't know.  Plus a pipe burst in our basement and flooded my wife's new work space and my new man cave...so I have to deal with plumbers and cleanup this week.  Might not be able to make this.

After my experience in Calgary, I would say anyone going probably should get their early and pre buy tickets. But I am guessing the Philly Convention Centre is probably much much larger. But way cool Line Up. Looking on the site, to get a pic and Autographs with them all is expensive and I suspect a person would need to refinance their house to do so ;)

Jobydrone:
Yes the big problem is the high cost just to get in the door and then everything you want to do there costs money too?  Seems crazy.  Plus if it's anything like the smaller cons I've been to I'd probably want to buy 90% of what I see there and will be miserable that I can't.  I just can't afford this.
