SeaQuest DSV
« on: July 01, 2011, 07:30:35 PM »
I would like to hear an episode dedicated to this series.

I know it fell apart in the second season, but i really feel that it was showing some potential in the third season.  I think it was cut short before it's time.  Many would say that it was trying to be Star Trek underwater, but i say what's wrong with that?  I became a SCUBA diver partly because of this show, and the sport has made a big difference in my life.

Anyone have love for SeaQuest?

I bought the first season DVD set because I liked Roy Scheider after seeing him in 2010, I thought he could easily do a TV sci-fi series.
SeaQuest had a good cast and the stories where pretty good.

I talked about the series briefly as part of the "Wet Sci-Fi" podcast, #196.

I reallly enjoyed Seaquest.  Great series.  Although season 2 got kind of silly... and season 3 was well... low budget.

I have been and always will be, your friend.

Season 1 was great, 2 was where I stopped and 3...never watched.

I agree about season 2, but season 3 is worth a look. It's on Netflix last I knew. It's much better than season two in my opinion. I have a soft spot for this show. Can't tell you why. Trek underwater maybe.
