SPAM SMS Text Messages

Even though I have my mobile phone (AT&T iPhone 4) registered on the Do-Not-Call registry - I have been getting spam text messages almost daily.  Almost always offering me a BESTBUY gift card of some sort.  Today - I had 2 messages come through between 04:00 and 05:00.   GRRRRRRR!  I can't turn the phone off - since I get legit pages, etc from work off hours that I must handle.
I made an alias for email messages from the Internet - which is a standard block of this stuff.  That seemed to work for a few months, now they are back on again.  I have been consistently filing complaints on the Do Not Call site, but never hear back.
Anyone else having this issue?

I get an occasional SPAM text, but it's pretty rare.  I've never bothered to register on any type of do not call list for my cell phone.

I got occasional spam SMS messages but recently I've been getting random calls to my phone. All there is on the line is a semi-regualr beeping. Quite annoying.

I get them now and then. I recall getting one about a week before the New iPad was launched that I had won a New iPad or iPad 3 as they said in the text message. Thought it was humorous since the new iPad had not been released yet.

I got another one this morning at 04:03!  Really makes me angry.  This one is offering a 'free iPad 3':

"Apple is looking for people to Test & Keep the New iPad3!  But only the 1st 1,000 users that goto httP;//getipad3.co and enter code BETA will Receive it"

What a pain.  Wish I could block out all text from unknown sources...
