"Looper" - movie

Not to mention the violence in the movie which is very intense (especially in a different angle that I can't talk about without spoilers).  Yes, this movie is rated R for several reasons.  But I found the story very compelling and in my view the movie would not have been at all the same if it was PG-13.

Really liked it, very smart and bears seeing again to catch certain elements you might have missed first time through...

[spoiler]the part near the beginning when the mob doctors are working on JGL's buddy was the coolest scene, and I really liked the depiction of the "Rainmaker's" abilities.  I would have liked to have seen on screen some indication of how horrible the future would be if he hadn't made his choice at the end.[/spoiler] This movie reminded me a lot of 12 Monkeys which is still my favorite Bruce Willis movie, but this is Willis' first movie in a long time that reminded me why he's one of my favorite action heroes.
