I looked for a thread on the movie and didn't find one.

We watched The Time Traveler's wife on Blu Ray last night. 

It was pretty darn cool.  Did anyone else catch this movie?

Would love to talk about it a bit.  It was very much like Journeyman from TV.

I just saw it a few weeks ago from around the middle and I really want to see it all. I really liked what I saw.

I think it's a fine movie Rick but a little too much of a downer for me to rave about it.

Rented this one recently. We really enjoyed it.

Great movie, very well thought out and following the story back and forth through the time jumps was very interesting.

I think after a couple of days now, the thing that fascinated me about it was that it was like a movie of Journeyman.  I really miss that show, it was so cool and the mystery just wasn't solved for me.  So the moview was kind of cool.  Plus it would be interesting I think to see how the daughter coped with this.  Room for a sequel?  The time traveler's daughter?

Rick, totally agree. I LOVED Journeyman. I hated that it was cancelled without any sort of resolution at all. And I do see similarities between Time Travelers Wife and Journeyman. But then again, Journeyman reminded me a bit of Quantum Leap...another GREAT show! :)

If I remember correctly there was controversy over Journeyman having similarities to this (which is originally a book).

I absolutely LOVED Journeyman! It is a disgraced that show got cancelled.
