HBO's "The Wire"

Not sure if I've ever seen this fantastic show discussed on these forums.  Although certainly not Sci Fi/Fantasy themed, this ranks as one of my favorite shows of all time.  It ran for five seasons on HBO, each season covering a different aspect of the inner city life of Baltimore MD (drug trafficking, politics and elections, the education system) and how they impact a group of dedicated police.  Lance Reddick from "Fringe" plays a prominent role in all five seasons and is great here.  The complete series is on sale at a great price on Amazon right now, so if you've got some holiday money burning a hole in your pocket pick it up.  At least try to catch them on reruns if you get the chance, it's a truly great show.
