I don't know how much traction this story has got recently, it's listed in IMDB for a 2011 release but has no details.

I'm happy to hear that an old favorite will be getting some more screen time.

A new Moonlighting Movie called "The Setup" will start shooting on location in Michigan next Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday.
While listening to our friend Jerry Doyle's radio show last Wednesday (24 Nov), he reminisced about his part on Babylon 5 playing Michael Garibaldi and the fact that Mike Gunther, a guy he worked with on the set in those days will have his directing debut with this new movie for Lions Gate Entertainment.

Starring:
Bruce Willis
50 cent
Kurt Russell
and
Harvey Keitel

No Cybil Sheppard.. can't have Moonlighting without her.

Wow so exciting!  I loved this show, but have to agree with Kenny.  Where's Maddie?  Edit:  This pic might explain why she is unable or unwilling to return to her iconic role.  She is 60 after all.  Regardless of her age though, I wish she was involved.  She is integral to the show and it won't be the same without her.

YIKES! The Phyllis Diller hair style!!

Well she recently did a spot on No Ordinary Family on ABC and was great.

I've always thought she was a gorgeous woman, from Last Picture Show when I first fell in love with her and onward.  "Chances Are" is one of my favorite romantic comedies of all time, with fabulous heartwarming performances by everyone involved, Cybill, Robert Downey, Ryan O'Neil and Mary Stewart Masterson.

That's not a great pic - bad hair day.  Here's a recent pic from her guest spot that Kenny mentions (which I also thought she was great on).  She looks pretty ok to me.  At least as good as Bruce Willis these days.

And MUCH more hair than Bruce Willis! :) Bruce McGill is looking pretty good for his age too.
And for the record, I agree. Cybil has always been a very classy looking woman and I for one would welcome her in a new Moonlighting. I LOVED that show.

Now i am a huge fan of Moonlighting (yes there will be a Waffle On about it) but I can't see it worling in a new film especially without Cybil. The great thing about Moonlighting was breaking the fourth wall, in a film you can only do that a few times before it becomes tiresome. Also Bruce was naturally a cheeky chap back then, now he seems a bit of a arse and i cant see him in the David role again.

Appearing here with Captain Braxton of the Federation Timeship 'Relativity' unless I'm very much mistaken.

Moonlighting was something I loved at the time but I'm not sure how well it would stand up now. I'm not really sure how they'd plug it into a movie format either but then I haven't seen it for years and my memory is pretty hazy.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
