iTunes 9.0 wouldn't sync my podcasts playlist to my iPod classic. I searched online and found a solution.

It was set up to sync all podcasts to my ipod. Podcasts appeared, but not the playlists. I have had to set it up as sync selected podcasts only and then manually check every podcast I subscribe to. It now works, but I must remember to check any new podcasts I subscribe to!

Wish I hadn't upgraded now.......... >:(!!

I'm having an awful time with iTunes 9 but it seems that most of them are actualy Vigin media having a bad day. From late last night I couldn't log in to iTunes...but Virgin have just resolved one problem and that now works.

Unfortunately, the broadband has now failed completely. I'm still hoping that once all issues are resolved iTunes will actually work without a problem.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I'm still on version 8.2 something.  I try not to upgrade right away.  Always seems to be problems.

Looks like the Internet is back and now iTunes works fine. Looks like it was ISP problems rather than apple problems :)

Yes - I have to fight my tendency to be an early adopter.  The pioneers are the ones with arrows in their backs.....   :)

iTunes for years has had bugs when they update.  It's a given at this point.

Hmm, I just stopped mine from updating.  I'll update in a week or so.

No real need for rush anyway.

I updated and haven't had any problems as of yet except losing an authorized computer. I suggest that anyone who updates deauthorize their computer then authorize it again after the updates.

I think it depends on the type of iPOD and/or iPhone you are using.  Be careful.

I've had no problems yet with the new iTunes or the iPhone software update.  I did get nervous when it put one of my iPhone backups in the trash though.  Shouldn't it have waited?

I had the same problems the other night when I installed it and twittered about it. Could not log into itunes store and could not update my touch. I spent 3 hours fiddling with it until I did a 'repair' in Windows control panel add /remove that took 30 seconds and then it worked!

Very strange...

BTW I'm on Virgin Media also, I wonder if that had something to do with it?

Could be, although my problems started after you'd solved yours and only sorted themselves out late last night.

Virgin had a global support ticket open claiming problems accessing 'some US sites' at the time and it was only once that was closed that my problem was sorted. Maybe it was a regional problem and they fixed your area a day befor mine, I don't know.

Anyway, it's all working now.

The only thing that isn't working for me is the media display on my Logitech G15 keyboard. That's more of a Logitech issue then a Apple one I surmise.
