Here are some pictures of a very fun evening that Andrew and I had.  We got to go to an old Theater in our community called the 7th Street Theater for a showing of "Back to the Future II" What made it very special was the Dolerean car club showed up and parked their cars outside the theater.   Here are some of the pictures we took.

I actually won a raffle and got three sets of Back to the future 2 original movie trading cards, complete with bubble gum.  I bet it tastes nasty now!  They even gave me the box when I asked for it.. circa 1987

This one had a lit up Flux Capicitor :)

Awesome pics!  Look at all those time machines!  Very, very cool stuff!   Look like a great time and very neat theater.

Those old theatres are great.  Very cool.  Did they show the other 2 movies?

They showed back to the future a year or so ago, they are showing Independence Day next month.  Wonder if they will park the mother ship outside?

I love it.

Just one small geeky nit-picky little thing.  The car in the movie was a stick shift.  I normally overlook little things but I love driving a with a stick.  I have never owned anything with an automatic transmission.

I got to see a DeLorean when I was younger (10 or 11) at a big car show I've gone to with my family every few years in Sandpoint Idaho. Hasn't been one their since. I remember thinking it was really cool though. I think I'd enjoy it even more now that I'm a bit older and have a car many people have refereed to as being a time machine (or just resembling a DeLorean).
Really cool Rick.

We had a DeLorean dealership in our town when i was a kid. Greenwich, CT. We had Ferrari, Rolls Royce, BMW, Porsche, al the high end stuff. I got to sit in so many $100K+ cars as a teen. The DeLorean's were AWFUL! They were so poorly made, you could see glue in the seams of the window and along the rubber seals, and they were a joke as far as performance.

Yet they can travel thru time, whereas a Porsche or Rolls can't  :-)

I remember actually seeing one in the parking lot of a bowling alley while I was stationed in Japan.
