So I need some help or at least some brainstorming ideas. Late With Jimmy Fallon is running a contest to become a college correspondent for their Late Night program. Now not many of you know, but one of my fantasies or wildest dreams would be to be apart of a late night talk show one day. I've done a bit of stand up and have done pretty well and I find myself to be the life of the party (ha ha). So here is my question to treksf, help me come up with a good video idea. Here's the link to the contest details: http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/blogs/2009/08/the-late-night-intern-contest/

I was actually thinking that I could maybe dress up as Conan O'Brien and do his mannerisms and be like thanks to you Jimmy I had to go back to school to get tuned up for The Tonight Show and run around campus trying to interview students, hoping around crazy, etc. But what are your ideas? Let me know.

Does your school have a student-oriented weekend "party area" in town? If so, I'd film a bunch of kids 'blowing off steam' on a Friday night.  If you edit it right, you might have a pretty entertaining collection of clips.

The trick will be that it has to be under 2 minutes.  That time goes by real fast.  I like the idea of interviewing other kids, but it's important to show a lot of you in the video too.  You have to have strong questions to ask the kids that are funny too.  I suppose you could ask them who Jimmy Fallon is and they could all say something like didn't he do that Taxi movie or something.  Maybe poke fun at him and then ask a kid who is Conan and they just go on and on.  Just an idea.
