So I was checking out the dates for 2009 Comic Con and wanted to check hotel reservations and every hotel around that area is booked already.. can you believe it.. it's 11 months before the event and everything is booked solid. Luckily I got the same place we booked this year.. it's not super close but it's a quick trolly ride away from the convention center.

So if you are thinking of going to Comic Con 2009 you need to book your hotel now..

July 23rd to 26th 2009

They are also selling tickets already.. last year it sold out several weeks before.. this is the first time you could buy tickets so early.. this thing keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Anyone plan on going this year to San Diego Comic Con? Let me know so we can met up.. have a Treks in sci fi dinner or something.

I'll be working the con this year, I expect. Went to a meeting yesterday: all the same old faces. It was like walking into a time warp. Anyhoo, I'd love to meet up with you all! I'll be working the art show.

4 day pass tickets have sold out.. five months before the event.. I haven't even gotten mine yet. Professional can't register until this Sunday.

Boy would I love to go to this! The event sounds amazing from what I've heard and I LOVE San Diego and I have been twice, but never during Comic Con.

I'd love to attend, but man; that's all the way on the other side of the country for me!  The nearest comic book con that I can look forward to is Wizard World Chicago.. Only a 5 or 6 hour drive from Louisville.  :)

True but this is the con of all cons.. it's worth coming out at least once.
