Marvel Supeheroes RPG

  For sometime I was running an on line Marvel Superheroes rpg on Mirc. We had a few players but it seems everyone disappeared after Christmas. The synopsis for the game was that 15 years ago the Hulk went on a rampage and ended up killing every Super hero on Earth. The Villains weren't dumb enough to tangle with him. So now Jim Rhodes recruited random mutants and other super humans to become the next generation of Avengers.

Sounds cool.  What happened to the Hulk after?

It turned out that the reason the hulk was on a rampage was Mephisto had Bruce Banner's soul. So the Sorcerer Supreme who on this earth was Agatha Harkness informed the heroes and had them lead the Hulk to a certain place so that she could send Hulk to Hades to battle Mephisto.  Mephisto restored Banner's soul and returned him tio Earth. He was then taken into custody by SHIELD.
  Eventually he was released and helped reform the Avengers with the player characters.

Good times.  Someone needs to smack Mephisto around again for the mess he made out of Spiderman these days.  (or at least smack around whoever's idea it was at Marvel Comics to "reboot" the Spiderman series)

I am a huge fan of alternate realities. I got into a discussion with some guys in a  comic book chat room they said we needed to play Marvel Super heroes rpg. . So I came up with an idea of the Hulk being on a rampage. I had to figure out why. I know that he had dealings with Nightmare in times past who happened to be a minion of Mephisto.
  It was really interesting how people decided how to make their own characters and the imagination they put into them. One guy did a new Spider-man who was a kid from Harlem. I created a Daredevil npc who was a little Asian girl with a magical ring that made her one tough cookie. But there were original characters too.
  I really enjoyed running the game and miss it.
