Moab Utah Rock Climbing Madness!

So this Memorial Day weekend, the wife, my best friend, and I went up to Moab, Utah, for some off roading and climbing fun. Here are the pics!

This was on the way up, Mounument Valley. Look like an album cover you may know?

Our rock climbing destination, Ancient Art, a 5.8-5.10 climb up to that squiggly spire in the middle of the picture!  That's about 600 feet above the canyon floor!
At the top of the world! The most terrifying, exposed place I have ever stood at!

It was amazing! I love the west, it's so beautiful and so huge, it's like a part of America you have never imagined before when you come from the crowded east.

Looks like you had a blast Bryan.  Great pics!  I love that part of the country.  I got to see some of it growing up when I lived in California for a couple of years.  I'd love to be able to retire out there.  Good for star gazing too!

Great stuff Bryan... Harry and I love going offroading, we both have Jeep Wranglers. Harry is a rock climber and he's been wanting to go to Utah... now that I see those pixs it looks like a great place to visit.

Looks like a blast Bryan! I would to go climbing again but at 51 I don't have the strength, and more importantly the endurance for climbing anymore. I don't mind safe hikes though! :-)
