Hi gang.  This coming Friday, April 20th I am going to do a little forum clean up and maintenance.  I plan on deleting any very old threads (over 6 months old and no new posts).  I'm also going to clear out the Shoutbox, delete a few inactive members and do a few minor upgrades.  Just wanted to let you all know.  If you have any questions, PM me or post here.

Geekyfanboy

If you need any help Rico.. let me know.

Rico

Cleaned out the Shoutbox, cleared out some old non-posting members and cleared out some very old posts.  A few things left to do, but all is going well.

Geekyfanboy

Yeah I noticed we dropped about 30 people.. but you still left a few 0 post members. How many post did you delete?

Rico

It doesn't show how many posts total deleted when I do it.  I just pick a time frame - think I did older than nine months or so.  I left a few 0 posters because I know who they are.  They may be back.

Rico

Please bear with me and the forum upgrades/changes.  Hopefully not much longer....

Yes...final tweaks now.  May change to an overall new look/theme.

Geekyfanboy

Well I'm looking forward to the final changes and look.

I sure like all the upgrades to the forum, one suggestion.. is there anyway to turn up the "glow" factor to the new posts?  I am having a hard time figuring out if there is something new on the main front of the forum, the glowing is really subtle. Can it be turned up brighter?

Awesome job Rico!

The "glow blobs" are built into the new theme look.  I'll see if there are any options for turning it up.  It is a bit subtle.  The other option would be to replace the glow balls with something else.  Glad you like the changes.
