Finally finished my laptop

Okay, so several months ago, I bought a HP DV6-7010us A8 with the fingerprint scanner and I decided to see exactly what I could do with it.

After upping the memory from 6gb to 16gb, I upgraded the OS from 7 to 8 then 8.1

Last night, I picked up a 240gb solid state drive and swapped out the factory 750 HDD.

I'm still trying to figure out what I'll be using it for, but it now boots into windows in less than 4 seconds. Given all the deals that I've gotten, I think I've paid less that 700 for the computer and new parts.

I know that there's have been some issues with this particular model, but I haven't seen any yet.

Four seconds is pretty impressive. You must have startups trimmed extremely low. good job!
