Got the new podcast up about this classic, TOS episode.  I talk about the latest "Into Darkness" trailer and even share some about the new job thing too.  Enjoy the podcast everyone!

Excellent, I'll give it a listen on my lunch break here shortly.

Love this ground-breaking episode.  (although it was tough for me to get past Dr. Loveless being in the cast!)

Enjoyed hearing about this episode and I sure don't mind hearing about how things are going with you.

Great podcast, Rico!  I enjoyed listening to it.  It's amazing how far we have come as a nation since this show was broadcasted.  I'm glad we figured out  we're all human.

Congratulations on the new job!  :cheers  I knew you would get it.  :cheers

Great podcast Rico.  For years the episode was banned by the BBC, and as a teenager I could only watch it on VHS!  Regarding you talking about the new Trek movie...noooooo, I had only seen one trailer and I did turn the air blue when you talked about certain ships in the new trailer!!  ;)

Sorry if I spoiled the trailer for you regarding 'certain ships.'  Trailers have always been fair game to talk about, but I do know some people don't always see them.  But, the real hard part is going to be dealing with the other countries actually getting the whole movie before we get it in the States (like in the UK).  So, you get the edge in spoilers then.  :)

It's amazing how little I actually remember about this episode. I remember the kiss, I remember Kirk being ridden around, but that's really all. Thanks for covering it! I may have to give this a re-watch, it's been years since I last saw it.

I've always believe that I've seen this episode but hearing it in review I also found I knew very little about it.

The kiss is as iconic for the still images it generated as much as the video and I guess it's possible I've only ever seen the photos and never actually watched the episode at all.

Thanks for looking at it.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

The word I think you are looking for, Rico, in regards to the activities they were froced to do is humiliation. They wanted to humiliate and as you say, break their sense of free will.

Great cast! I don't think I've ever actually seen the episode, so I'll have to check it out.

I agree, it really is pretty crazy when you think about the fact that the kiss scene was so taboo only several decades ago. My dad was nearly a teenager.

It makes me wonder how people will view our current wranglings about marriage equality 30 years from now..

Just listened. Awesome cast Rico!  :thumbsup  Y'know, I'm not sure if I ever actually saw this episode...I'll have to do that.

Hi Rico, I listened to this podcast just the other night.  great podcast, I still remember seeing this ep back on TV.  its a great ep too.  I recognized Michel Dunn from Wild, Wild, West TV show.  the fact it was band in the U.K was news to me, I knew that the trek ep patterns of force was banned in Germany, but banning an trek ep in the U.K. well that is downright wrong.
I am going with the best information that I have.
