I have seen this one, I mean, plants in the arboretum? Crazy. Must not have kids in his house.

Really amazing job.  The paint job is most impressive.  This is one reason I have not started my build yet.  Need to gather some lighting materials and plan it out still.

There's a crazy amount of work and detail in that but the result is pretty amazing. It's helpful to see it scaled against the 1p and 10p coins too, just to get a decent idea of how small some of these bits are.

I'd love to think I could do something like that but I know I simply haven't got the patience required for the detail (or the ability, probably).

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I asked him how much time it took and he said this...

average of 6 hours a night/day x 6 months..... Rough estimate being over 1080 hours averaging 45 days solid work if it were possible to stay awake that long ;-)

That's the hard part for me for a project like this - the hours of time you need to do it that I just don't have much of these days.

Yeah, the 2 weeks of spending an hour or 2 on a model is my limit. Maybe when things aren't so busy in my life I'll have more time. I almost bought one of these the other day, but I really want to do it well. The aztecing he did is what really gets me.

Yeah I saw him reply to you with that over on the RPF and was like WTF?! That's like a full time job!

The Aztecing he did was amazing, truly amazing, a lot of patience. Whar he did with the Lighting was amazing as well.

Trekworks also makes some fantastic models as well, and pumps them out in good order.

Totally amazing work job, I'm always amazed how much time and passion people put in to model work.
