Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, BOTP is a lot toned down from Gatchaman. The added on Animation was terrible, they just slapped it in fast I think.

This was one of those programs I always assumed was simply imported US 'stuff'. I always loved the ship and would claim to have drawn some stories with it except I can't draw so must be imagining it.

I neer realised the full story of where it had all come from or how it had been put together. It makes for an interesting story. Thanks for sharing it.

I never saw this show so I really had no idea about it. I did enjoy learning about it and I kept waiting for Casey Kasem to play a top 40 song! I never knew he did voice work but it sure makes perfect sense. Good job, jedijeff!
