Austin Comic Con Pics from Anomaly

Hey guys! We went to Austin Comic Con this weekend. We had a booth there, met some fellow nerds, listeners/potential listeners, took a lot of photos and video, recorded panels and did a few con reports. One of which is up right now and features a panel with Marina Sirtis and Gates McFadden. I got my photo taken with her too...She's a hero of mine and I am now complete. Anyway, below is a sampling of photos from the con of Angela, Kasey and myself. We have MANY more on our Facebook Fan page in the photo album that include coolest costumes. Check them out if you get a chance. We plan to post a video to our feed soon, along with a recorded panel with Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes and LaVar Burton. Oh! and "hi" to the guys who came by our booth! Four different listeners of Treks In Sci-Fi came by at different times throughout the weekend and talked about how cool Rico is . They said they listen and enjoy both of our shows! They were very nice. We even signed an autograph for one, which felt weird; we're just two moms doing a show in a living room with a preschooler or two coming into talk to us ever so often. That said, it was also very flattering...I won't lie. :D But I've never signed an autograph before, and because I was so surprised I just signed my name. I should have written something more clever than just "Jen". LOL. Oh well.

I should add that in the costume pics of Angela and I... I was a pirate and she was Bellatrix from Harry Potter. We were posing for photos in a "villain stand off" stance. :D

Great Pics, looks like a lot of fun you had. Good to see you were both all smiles in your costumes after the first few pictures when you had weapons to each throat ;)
