An interesting idea although I wonder how durable it is, particularly on something like a car (by which I mean a car that people actually use on a daily basis rather than one that is only stored and admired).

from what I read they said it would outlast norml car paint as you can put a protective clear coat ove it
I think it would be price prohibative though.

Yeah, I kind of don't believe them.  I know a little about film technology.  One problem is tearing when rocks hit a film on a car like this, among other issues.

My same thoughts looks good but I'm not sure that the novelty would hold up to everyday practicality, makes the car look aesthetically pleasing, but not practical or functional in the real world plus very expensive., But i suppose the people who could afford to do this to their care probably wouldn't care about practicality.
