Good podcast Jeff, I catched this movie via Netflix last year so I still remember it.  And you covered it well.  I like the movie itself but you have to get around one giant plot hole in order to enjoy it, and that's Titan.  The fact that Titan wasn't used against the Dredge at the beginning of the movie is a bit hard to swallow and the fact that Earth wasn't advanced enough to destroy them is also questionable.  You hear the saying "Its always easier to destroy than to create" and we should have easily had the technology to destroy the dredge themselves by this point.

That aside, I liked the unique story they presented and the visuals are good.  The alien creatures were also diverse and interesting which I liked.  Good job Jedijeff!  :)

Hi all to the form. I just listen to this podcast last Saturday.  It was a great podcast, good job Jedijeff.  I first saw Titan A.E  back in the summer of 2000 when it was first released.  I was looking very forward to seeing it that summer especially after I seen a trailer for it back in the winter time of the same year. I recall seeing this teaser trailer that showed a spaceship of some kind going into wrap drive.  I thought that was a asuame ad so I knew I had to see this one.  I did enjoy the movie when I first saw it but I thogut it could have been a bit better.  I thought the opening scenes of the little boy and his boat in the water were great as well as the end seaceas where the Titan was activated and the new plant was forming.  I did watch it again a year latter on HBO, but I haven't seen it since.  I may watch it again one day when I see i playing on TV.
I am going with the best information that I have.
