I saw this, it means we should get the official iPad up soon. The code is hidden in the latest iPhone Facebook app update but can only be "activated" with a jail broken iPad.

I find it funny that high profile companies put in hooks for future versions (or even entire hidden features) into release software. They have to know that things will be found out. Has Facebook addressed this at all?

To be honest I don't mind using the web page on the iPad. It works great and better than any of the 3rd party apps. If they bring out this app and limit the functionality then I'll stick to that. They've resisted bring out a dedicated iPad version in the past so I hope they do a good job with this.

I have been waiting for a long time for a nice iPad version of the FaceBook app.  Why they haven't released this yet is beyond me.  Maybe they will release it with iOS 5. LOL

Facebook has somehow managed to lock up the code somehow, but I don't remember how they did it.
